illucid Archimedes Plutonium 2004 Jul 10
     ... Usenet kooks . physics . megalomaniacs ...
"This website contains all of the new physics, science and engineering work of Archimedes Plutonium. The layout of this website is the Beginning section with the hard core sciences listed as physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy, and mathematics. That is a ranking based on two criteria, one of subset and another of ability to verify truth of claims within the science. Then comes the Middle section which is applied hard core science or engineering. And finally is the End section of soft sciences listed as to closest-relationship to one another. Note that the start of this website is the Atom Totality theory and the end of this website is sci.religion which is apt, for think of the website rankings not as linear but as a circle coming back around. So we start with the hard core most general of all sciences and the most easily verified of all sciences-- physics and like a circle we come around to the worship of physics in sci.religion. Below in chemistry I have a circular periodic table, so think of the rankings on this website as sci.physics at the top and coming full circle back around is sci.religion which is basically the worship of physics since God is 231Pu and the best bible is the best most up-to-date physics textbook."

bizarre Netiquette Anthropology: A Troll's Confection 2003 Aug 03
     ... Usenet kooks ...
"The Internet has changed the society deeply. It has indirectly changed nations, catapulted sciences, deeply imbued the daily lives of men, and as well effected writings and have created a culture one of a kind, among which is FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions), Netiquette, and Trolling. Netiquette refers to Net Etiquette. It is the implicit rules in online communities, widely purveyed in the early days of internet (pre-1997) but faded quitely with the mainstreaming of Internet. Troll refers to roughly someone who post a message that solicits explicitly or indirectly a huge usually chaotic following. In these pages, are collected essays on these phonomen."

anti The Spaceman Emulator 2003 Mar 11
     ... relativity . Usenet kooks ...
"Anyone familiar with the sci.physics newsgroup, will also be familiar with James Driscoll, better known as Spaceman. For years, James has been bombarding the newsgroup with endless semi-literate, semi-intelligible posts that purport to disprove relativity. His disbelief in relativity is based on personal incredulity mixed with a negligible understanding of both the theory and the experimental evidence supporting it. His staple argument is to falsely assume that relativity is primarily supported by direct observation of time dilation, and to then claim that the clocks used in such experiments malfunctioned. Most criticism is met by ad nauseum repetition of the above claim, combined with insults that range from the offensive to the bizarre. His favourite insults are claims that a person has a religious or emotional attachment to relativity, for example, 'Clock Worshipper'. This web site enables you to create your own Spaceman messages. Why you would want to is a different matter altogether ..."

crankiest A Robert E. McElwaine Archive 2002 Aug 17
     ... Usenet kooks ...
"Along with Serdar Argic, Robert E. McElwaine became one of the most famous Net.Legends during his tenure on Usenet, generating enough fame and interest to rate a FAQ and his own newsgroup, Originally appearing on the science groups such as sci.physics and sci.astro, and eventually posting to almost every newsgroup in existence, McElwaine would post long messages about a number of subjects on a regular monthly or semi-monthly schedule. These posts were almost always the same, with no changes made from the previous editions, and he never crossposted, making it impossible for most newsreader programs to realize that the message had already been read."

crankiest Trace-Formation of America 2001 Dec 29
     ... conspiracy . psychology . mind control . Usenet kooks ...
"... is the first documented autobiography of a victim of government mind control. Cathy O'Brien is the only vocal and recovered survivor of the Central Intelligence Agency's MK-Ultra Project Monarch operation. Tracing her path from child pornography and recruitment into the program to serving as a top-level intelligence agent and White House sex slave, TRANCE Formation of America is a definitive eye-witness account of government corruption that implicates some of the most prominent figures in U.S. politics."

anti aus.politics Net.Kook of the year 2001 Mar 03
     ... politics . Usenet kooks ...
"Every year the dudes who hang out in aus.politics honour one of their number with the dubious title of 'aus.politics Net.Kook of the Year'. Its usually bloody obvious who deserves it, obsession, stupidity, no concern for reality, any or all of these can lead to immortality in this archive."

anti Xemu's Koos Nolst Trenite tribute page 2000 Nov 13
     ... megalomaniacs . Usenet kooks ...
"Koos Nolst Trenite is one of the more intriguing figures on alt.religion.scientology. Some years ago he really did work for OSA in covert intelligence and was by all accounts a nasty piece of work. Then he completely flipped his wig, and was unceremoniously dumped. Now he serves the same function as a terminal lung cancer case in an anti-smoking campaign: an awful warning of just how badly Scientology can mess up your head."

cranky List of selected Usenet Articles 2000 Sep 02
     ... relativity . quantum mechanics . Usenet kooks ...
"Quantum physics: An alternative interpretation of the double-slit experiment is presented as follows: The observed effect is simply the result of the field generated by the electron gun, and is not produced by the electrons themselves. ... Special relativity: It is shown that the argument presented in Special Relativity for constancy of cvacuum would also apply equally to cglass and cwater. ... General relativity: It is argued that the equations of GR are simply approximations with errors on the order of 1:cn and that the non-manipulative derivation of a four dimensional model of motion under gravitational influence would yield a model very close to GR, but without the spatial curvature components, and without any special significance to c being attached."

cranky Welcome to the sci.astro blacklist 2000 Aug 30
     ... Usenet kooks . megalomaniacs ...
"These people frequently post off-topic articles in the sci.astro newsgroup. Do not respond to them. Just ignore them. Just put their names in your kill file if you can't ignore them. Otherwise, your name may end up on this blacklist and in every subscriber's kill file." Another self-appointed netcop.
