illucid Nigel Cook 2005 Dec 06
     ... gravitation . Big Bang . physics . electromagnetism . September 11 ...
"My first article appeared when I was 22, in the November 1994 issue of Electronics World, on electromagnetic pulse. Later I corresponded with Electronics World writer Ivor Catt on electromagnetism. Catt?s drive was motivated by a life saving discovery on computer cross-talk glitches. He had discovered a way to avert computer crashes completely in air traffic control systems while speeding them up sufficiently to spot potential collisions or terrorist activity automatically, and a version of his earlier computer wafer scale innovation had successfully come to market. His problem was that ?popular physics? authors were flooding the media with hype about backward time travel, 10 dimensional strings, parallel universes and Kaku flying saucer speculation, and were obviously lying that such unpopular non-testable guesses were science. A-level physics uptake falls by 4% per year!"

cranky Gravitational constant theory and gravitational mass conjecture 2005 Dec 06
     ... gravitation ...
"Traditionally the gravitational constant (strength of gravity) has been assumed to be constant. This website puts forward the conjecture that the gravitational constant, associated with each mass, depends on the proximity of other matter. This leads to a natural solution of the flatness problem. If the strength of gravity were to decrease for regions of dense matter, bangs could occur due to 'bounces' of dense and collapsing masses. As the pressure and temperature increased, the outward forces would increase. If the strength of gravity decreased, bangs would occur leading to be observed foam like large scale structure. Conjecture: The attractive gravitational mass of an object varies, depending on the proximity of other matter, in order to keep its total gravitational potential energy equal to its rest mass. As the earth's distance to the sun varies, the strength of the earth's gravity would vary over a year - causing an annual 6cm variation of the moons orbit around the earth. This affect may have been measured by lunar laser ranging. If the conjecture is true, LISA (the space based gravitational wave detector) may be able to detect solar oscillations, which would change the sun's gravitational mass. The shape of 'galactic rotation curves' may be explained by the conjecture. The conjecture itself came from a new and radical cosmological model."

cranky Feynman gravity mechanism 2005 Dec 06

"We are seeing the past with distance in the big bang! Gravity consists of gauge boson radiation at light speed, coming from the past just like light itself. Hence, there is apparent acceleration (variation in speed from 0 toward c with times past of 15,000,000,000 years toward 0), so F=ma gives outward big bang force. The 3rd law says there's equal inward (Higgs field/gauge boson) force, which gets shielded by mass, proving gravity to within 1.65% ..."

"The search for the laws of nature was triggered by cosmological phenomena reported by the Hubble. Among them are the following: (1) Cosmic ripples in the Cosmos that produce cosmic dust that eventually congeals into stars; on the average, a star is born in the Cosmos every minute. (2) Powerful gamma ray bursts of energy a thousand times more intense than ordinary gamma rays in the Cosmos. (3) Waves of stars by the trillions in concentric rings generated by and propagated outward from the point of collision between one of the pair of small galaxies in one direction and a large one in another oblique to it (verifies FTG?s dark-to-visible-matter conversion in the Cosmos) [117]. If the colliding galaxies had opposite spins with common equatorial plane the explosion could have been cataclysmic for our universe. (4) Rapid accelerated dispersal of the galaxies in accordance with Hubble?s law (shown to be equivalent to the rapid radial accelerated expansion of our universe)."

"Studies of black hole physics by people like Hawking and Bekenstein suggests that our perceptual universe, which is perceived to have three spatial dimensions, might instead be 'written' on a two-dimensional surface, analogously to a computer generated holographic projection. "After fifty one years of continuing to find support for this theory and no one proving any of my predictions or suspicions wrong, I can only come to the conclusion that scientists are afraid to admit that this is right. This theory should not be hard to believe, or to understand, but it seems that most people are not getting it, or are not admiting it; so I do not have any hopes that you will understand it, but I do expect you to be smart enough to add up all the evidence. This could be quite an achievement in itself, because the more you can see, the more your mind will let you see. It is my guess that most religious people believe it is a sin to reason. It seems that all my predictions and assumptions are coming true. In fact I believe that it borders on the impossible to make a wrong prediction if it is truly based on my theory."

crankier UniKEF Theory of Gravity 2004 Nov 06
     ... gravitation ...
"UniKEF is a laminar, omni directional flow of unbound energy from either all active bodies in the universe or every Planck length ordinate point of vacuum foam in the universe. The UniKEF energy flow was created at the time of the Big Bang or other origins and is currently continuing to expand time-space. Mass is viewed as bound energy. Bound energy is energy confined to move at relavistic velocities of rotational spin in a harmonic standing wave. This suggests space (energy) has mass and that space is in fact a medium with properties. Mass then is highly compacted space and contains energy by the general E = m c^2 relationship. As unbound energy (time-space) flow penetrates through and/or intersects with highly concentrated bound energy (mass) it imparts momentum to the mass in the vector of the energy flow."

"The idea that an airplane can fly endlessly carrying heavy loads of passengers and cargo without burning any fuel, can stop and hover in place weightless at any time, and can takeoff and land vertically is a radical departure from accepted thought concerning aviation. This new reality that is made possible by the invention of Robert Hunt's astounding new hybrid aircraft is Hunt Aviation's vision of the future of aviation. Our aircraft is a fixed wing, ridged skin airplane made of lightweight composite materials. The new hybrid 'gravity-powered aircraft' is formed by merging the capabilities of the following devices into a single new aircraft apparatus: (1) an aircraft capable of aerostatic (lighter-than-air) lift to gain altitude; and, (2) a glider aircraft capable of aerodynamic lift, having a high glide ratio to accomplish long range gliding; and, (3) an innovative new extremely low drag vertical axis wind turbine that is capable of harnessing the force of wind to generate power as the aircraft glides upward via positive buoyancy and glides downward via gravity acceleration. Energy is obtained from several different energy sources that allows this cycle to be repeated indefinitely to allow the craft to stay aloft virtually forever."

"Light may need a medium of minute particles or waves filling space to travel, for instance gravitons (or gravity particles as I call them on this website). Such minute particles/waves then may be part of the vicinity of the Earth, thus explaining the apparent constancy of the velocity of light (2-1). Minute particles/waves filling space also may explain two-slit experiments within quantum mechanics: while a photon passes one slit waves within the particles/waves pass the other slit (3-1). Gravity may be explained by minute particles/waves that push all matter from all sides, which makes gravity a pushing force rather than an attracting force (3-2). Cosmological redshift can be explained by minute particles/waves in intergalactic space taking energy from photons (1-2). The cosmic background radiation can be seen as the equilibrium temperature of the universe (4-2)."

cranky Fields of force as multidimensional entities 2002 May 13
     ... physics . gravitation . particle physics ...
"The theory shows a unification of the fields of force using an unfamiliar concept of curved dimensions. In that concept, objects with a varying number of dimensions co-exist independently next to each other. It is assumed that an object can have dimensions that fall outside the scope of our 4-dimensional space-time. But it is also assumed that not all dimensions of this space-time necessarily participate in the dimensions that an object is actually built from. Based on these principles it will be shown that all fields of force can be ordered hierarchically based on their number of dimensions that 'overlap' our space-time. Interactions between fields will be described starting from the concept that all fields are basically equivalent. This results in the extrapolation of properties of one field into another field. Combined with the new concept of dimensions it will be shown that this leads to remarkably simple explanations for amongst others the propagation of the gravity field and the difference between fields of force with long and short range. Practical applications of this theory cover two theoretical methods to produce artificial gravity and a new view on the Big Bang that leads to the logical interpretation of what happened before it as well as the order in which fields of force and elementary particles must have been created." crankiest The Speed of Gravity: What the Experts Say 2002 Apr 21
     ... gravitation . Einstein was wrong ...
"Standard experimental techniques exist to determine the propagation speed of forces. When we apply these techniques to gravity, they all yield propagation speeds too great to measure, substantially faster than lightspeed. This is because gravity, in contrast to light, has no detectable aberration or propagation delay for its action, even for cases (such as binary pulsars) where sources of gravity accelerate significantly during the light time from source to target By contrast, the finite propagation speed of light causes radiation pressure forces to have a non-radial component causing orbits to decay (the 'Poynting-Robertson effect'); but gravity has no counterpart force proportional to v/c to first order. General relativity explains these features by suggesting that gravitation (unlike electromagnetic forces) is a pure geometric effect of curved space-time, not a force of nature that propagates. Gravitational radiation, which surely does propagate at lightspeed but is a fifth order effect in v/c, is too small to play a role in explaining this difference in behavior between gravity and ordinary forces of nature."

cranky Big Bang and Black Hole [sic] are Science Fiction 2001 Feb 05
... Big Bang . gravitation . Einstein was wrong ...
"The Yilmaz theory of gravity is an extension of the Einstein general theory of relativity. Since 1958, Prof. Huseyin Yilmaz has published numerous papers on his theory in prestigious scientific journals. The Einstein theory has a flaw that was not apparent during Einstein's lifetime. The Yilmaz theory has corrected this flaw, and has thereby eliminated the 'singularity' concept of the big bang and black hole, which Einstein strongly opposed. This website explains the Einstein and Yilmaz theories in a simple physical manner that is scientifically accurate. The Yilmaz theory yields a radically new explanation for the Hubble expansion of the universe. The theory predicts that relativistic effects due to gravity distort space in such a manner that the universe expands locally about every point, yet the overall size of the universe does not change. The theory predicts a universe with a constant size and an infinite age, which appears to be eternally young because it is continually changing."

"For several years the physicist Fran De Aquino worked as Senior-Researcher at the National Institute for Space Research -- INPE (Brazil). Also, he has been director of the INPE's Space Observatory at São Luís, since its creation up to 1997. At present he is professor at the State University of Maranhao (Brazil). Also, he is Science & Technology Consultant for international companies. Fran De Aquino's publications list includes several articles and scientific books. Its research involves many aspects of Gravitation and Cosmology. After thirty years of research, professor De Aquino have shown that gravity can be quantized starting from the generalization of the called action function. When Fran De Aquino has quantized the gravity he carried out an old dream of the Quantum Physicists - to obtain a Quantum Theory for Gravity. This Quantum Theory of Gravity unifies Einstein's Theory of General Relativity with the Quantum Theory and furthermore it leads to an equation of correlation between gravitational and inertial masses, which opens doors for the gravity control. In spite the gravitational and inertial masses be not necessarily equivalent as it was supposed, the theory shows that there is a revalidation of the strong equivalence principle, and consequently Einstein's equations are preserved. Thus, De Aquino's Quantum Theory of Gravity does not invalid Einstein's Theory, on the contrary, just complement its theory. In such way as Einstein's theory has complemented Newton's theory."

I believe that the true nature of gravity can be understood. With these web pages I hope to take you on a journey that will enlighten you to this end."

"This society is modelled on the 'Flat Earth Society.' Einstein is to blame for starting all this 'curved space' talk. Everybody knows space is 'flat.' Newton and Einstein didn't know what gravity is, and nobody knows to this day. ... Use Riemannian curved geometry, but that still doesn't explain the real physical mechanism of gravity. I maintain space is 'flat' (Newtonian) and we'd better start finding out what gravity really is, especially if we want to find a better way of defeating it to accomplish realistic space travel."

"There is an absolute time and absolute space, filled with an ether. The ether is instationary and compressible, but rigid, crystallic. The gravitational field is described by ether density, velocity and stress. Usual matter fields and gauge fields are described by other (inner) steps of freedom of the ether, like crystal defects. This allows to explain the distortion of rulers and dilation of clocks and why we do not 'feel' the ether. The universe does not expand, but our rulers shrink -- it only looks like a big bang. There are no black holes, the gravitational collapse of a star stops immediately before horizon formation leaving a frozen star -- but it looks like a black hole in general relativity."

"I believe that subtle errors in 19th Century physics have caused a build up of cumulative errors until physics now out-weirds science fiction. This is my attempt to find the unified laws of physics. I have a consistent theory which explains the phenomena of electromagnetism, Newtonian mechanics and gravity."

"Over the years the existence and understanding of the aether has evolved as the basis for gravity and free energy effects at a micro and macro level. Laboratory experiments have shown that superluminal energy and information transfer has been effectively accomplished via aetheric engineering, which effectively eliminates the theory of relativity and its absurd views of physics and cosmology."

"Matter and space, gravity and electromagnetism are great, unresolved questions, but there are also problems in theories explaining the structure of the atom and electrical current. The known laws of physics fail to explain why it is that electrons stay in orbit in an atom. Explaining electric current by the movement of free electrons is in many ways in conflict with the known facts. It is difficult to explain an electrically charged conductor, just as it is hard to explain the speed of an electric current. Is it possible that matter and space, gravity, electricity and magnetism are simple phenomena, being merely different expressions of a single thing? The answer is yes!"

cranky Holistic Quantum Cosmology with Decreasing Gravity 1999 May 27
     ... cosmology . gravitation . quantum mechanics ...
"In this treatise I shall forward a theory which gives a unification between microcosmos and macrocosmos. I shall introduce an elementary length and an elementary time. My discovery of the connection between elementary length, the actual extension of the universe, gravity and electromagnetism leads to the consequence that gravity in the universe is decreasing. A formula showing how Newton's gravitational 'constant' is decreasing with time is deducted [sic]."

cranky Weight, Inertia, & Gravity 1999 May 27
     ... gravitation . Einstein was wrong ...
In forming his The General Theory of Relativity, Albert Einstein used his famous thought experiments to justify his postulate that Inertia and Gravity are equivalent. Although they are closely related they are not equivalent. Inertia is a requirement of space. Gravity is one of the primary forces of nature that fulfils this requirement. The force of gravity arises from the "mass" created by the Inertial requirement of Space. One of the ideas that misled Einstein to his conclusion was that a body dropped in an accelerating elevator behaved in exactly the same manner as it would if dropped on the surface of Earth. Actually, the effects, in both cases, are similar but not exactly the same. The truth is, Gravity causes bodies, dropped from various heights in the room resting on the ground, to fall at different rates of acceleration where as, all bodies in the accelerating elevator "fall" at the same rate. Also they do not "fall" parallel to each other under the influence of gravity as they do in an accelerating room.
